Marcus Hodges has been practicing massage therapy for thirteen years. His mission is to take seriously the discipline of massage therapy as an ancient philosophy of healing for the general community.
Waco native and 2001 Midway graduate, Marcus received his degree in 2010 from The Swedish Institute College of Health Sciences in Manhattan. He practiced massage therapy in New York and Austin before moving back to Waco.
Over the past few years, Marcus has worked with Baylor athletics and the local fitness community. Marcus specializes in sports, therapeutic, and medical massage and is trained and experienced in all other modalities of bodywork.

I offer a customizable rehabilitation massage that helps relieve pain, reduce stress and work on specific problems. I’ve worked with many different populations such as geriatric, prenatal, and athletes.
I am a student with a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Science Studies with a concentration in Pre-Physical Therapy. I have been in massage for five years and specializes in sport and deep tissue massage. In addition, I’ve worked in spas, clinics, and rehab facilities that have exposed me to many body types, including athletes and geriatrics. I pride myself on my professionalism and deep knowledge of the human body. I do this because I love puzzles, and the body is a prime example of that. For example, low back pain could be caused by an imbalance in core strength, and you might not even know it. Helping the body return to recovery is my primary goal in every session.
